#2 Sublimation Gang Sheet
Size

Sublimation printing is a method used to transfer full-color designs onto specially coated surfaces. Instead of putting ink on top of a material (like screen printing), sublimation turns solid dye into a gas when heated, which bonds directly into the fibers or coating of the item.

Here’s what it’s for:

  • Apparel: Printing on polyester fabrics (jerseys, shirts, hoodies) with vibrant, long-lasting colors that won’t crack, peel, or fade.
  • Merchandise: Custom mugs, tumblers, keychains, mousepads, phone cases, coasters, puzzles, and similar products.
  • Signs and Displays: Banners, flags, and trade show displays made of polyester or polymer-coated materials.
  • Home Decor: Pillows, blankets, curtains, photo panels, and other textile or coated hard goods.

Because the ink actually becomes part of the material, sublimation is best for:

  • Full-color, photo-quality prints.
  • Small-batch or custom items.
  • Durable designs that don’t wash out or scratch off.

👉 Limitation: it only works on 100% polyester fabrics (or items with a polymer coating) and typically on light-colored fabrics.
